Founding Studio Beta Terms

Who offers this

The LocaGlint Founding Studio programme is offered by GLINT APEX LTD, a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 17151097).

Eligibility

The programme is open to the first 20 studios accepted into the LocaGlint Beta. Acceptance is at our discretion, and we confirm by email whether you have a founding place. A studio means one game development team or company; a publisher with several studios may apply for each studio separately. Studios accepted after the first 20 can still join the Beta, without the founding-studio benefits.

Free period

Founding studios can use LocaGlint free of charge for 12 months from activation — the date we enable your account, which we confirm by email.

Second year

For the 12 months after the free period, founding studios receive 50% off the published list price of the plan you choose, as at the first day of your second year. We will publish our list prices and give you at least 30 days' written notice before your free period ends.

Fair use

The free period and discount are subject to fair use. If your usage is substantially beyond typical use, we will contact you to agree a reasonable arrangement. If we cannot agree, either of us may end the founding-studio arrangement on 30 days' notice, and you can export your data.

No automatic charges

We will not charge you without your explicit agreement. When the free period ends, continuing on a paid plan requires your confirmation. If you don't confirm, we pause your account and keep your data for at least 30 days so you can export your data or decide to continue.

Beta service

LocaGlint is in Beta. Features may change, and the service is provided as is during the Beta.

Changes to the programme

We may change or end the Beta programme for new applicants at any time. Studios already accepted keep the free period and second-year discount described above for as long as we operate the service. If we ever discontinue LocaGlint, we will give you at least 30 days' notice, help you export your data, and not charge you for that period.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
